Meet Brady

Brady grew up a sports fan in Bloomington, Indiana.  Originally choosing to play the “exciting” sports of basketball, baseball and football he initially resisted the requests of both grandfathers to give golf a try.  Upon playing for the first time at age 14 and making a birdie during his first ever round he became hooked and began to play and practice every day at the neighborhood municipal course near his home.  His hard work resulted in progressing to the point of helping his High School team advance to the State Championship in 3 short years.

That passion for sports, which shifted towards golf, has never gone away.  Neither has the influence of his grandfathers who in addition to golf encouraged him to embrace learning and to follow your passion so you can learn for a lifetime.  These influences lead him to completing multiple degrees in Kinesiology, a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Masters in Athletic Administration and Sports Management.  Now as a PGA Member and Professional Golf Coach, Brady’s passion for the game and for continuing his education benefits every student he sees on the lesson tee.

All he’s ever wanted to be was a golf professional and during his 20+ year career starting at exclusive private Troon Country Club, Brady has been an Apprentice to a National Teacher of the Year, a Head Professional, A Collegiate Coach, an industry sales rep and an Award Winning Golf Club Fitter.  These experiences – as an administrator (Head Golf Pro) – as a competitive coach – as a sales rep – as a club fitter, give Brady unique insights into total golf performance. AdditionallyBrady as a golfer still competes in professional events and has goals he’s still working towards achieving as a player.  This myriad of insights allow Brady to quickly help new players hit their first nice crisp pitch or aspiring tournament players to continually stripe their tee shots during competitive rounds.

Brady, who operates under the notion that “Education isn’t something you can finish,” was recently honored to be named The Northern Texas PGA Section 2022 Metro Chapter Teacher of the Year.  In addition to having previously earned distinction as a Golf Digest Top 100 Clubfitter (with Dallas Golf), shows Brady has took his grandfathers advice to heart and is continually learning within his craft.

Brady would be similarly honored if you let him share his knowledge to help you get better at this great game of golf.
